Alphonse Mucha
I think the compositions of these are incredible, I really like the ethereal feel they give. Though I am no where near as good, and possibly never will be, Mucha's work is something to aim for. The level of detail coupled with the clever use of composition makes them so impressive. The work below reminds me of a tarot layout.
The Tillman Project - Clint Reid
Clint Reid is an artist that I always revisit. Matt always talks about artists he falls in love with and Clint was my first BIG love. I really want to develop my watercolour technique every time I look at it. I think that I can adopt the paper texture and the geometric shape work for my own work to add more depth to my cards.
